Get the new year going in the right direction with an MPS audit!

As a New Year gets underway, it’s a time for business owners take stock of where they’ve been and what they would like to do differently and better in this next year.

For 2023, every business owner should consider an MPS audit.

MPS stands for “Managed Print Services.” MPS is the practice of analyzing your business’s costs of generating documents. Most businesses, with the right plan in place, can save between 15% and 25% of their total printing/generation costs annually. And to put that in perspective, most businesses and organizations spend between 1% and 3% of their entire budget on document generation costs.

Suppose you oversee the printing and copying needs of a neighborhood medical clinic, and your annual revenues are $4,000,000. That means that your organization in all likelihood spends close to $120,000 each year in the generation of documents.

Doing the math, it means that the medical clinic could save around $30,000 and the real estate firm could realize as much as $75,000 in savings with the right plan in place.

In future posts, we’ll tell you in more detail how you can implement a Managed Print Services program and save on your document generation costs.

Those savings can be put to far better use elsewhere in your company than in overpaying for the documents that you create as a necessary part of your work.
