Redefining Print Management

A recent study by the market research firm Gartner indicates that through 2008, companies that actively manage their document output fleets will be able to save between 10 and 30 percent of their recurrent spending. Other surveys have indicated most companies spend between 8 and 15 percent of their organization's total revenue on document creation and management.  Companies are more equipped to achieve their corporate goals and objectives by concentrating on their core competencies while an effective solutions provider manages their document processes.

Managing Print is Frustrating

Printers are everywhere and management is difficult. According to Buyers Laboratory, “Ninety percent of all companies do not track their printing costs.”

IT personnel spend unnecessary time responding to printer problems (ITC
reports that IT departments spend 15% of their time on printing and related issues!).

Most offices contact multiple vendors for service and supplies, and cut individual Purchase Orders to handle each day’s problem.

Printers break down during important jobs (Murphy’s Law!).

It is difficult to determine the actual costs associated with printing.
